Olivia:
Olivia has a little while to go before her lungs will be ready for air and is practicing her "breathing" on the amniotic fluid—sucking it in and out of her lungs. Other highlights this week:Fat production is in overdrive at this point (for the baby, not me! Well, OK, maybe for the baby and me). Olivia will basically double in weight over the next four weeks! She is starting to
look more like a newborn as her skin becomes less see-through. Her body is looking more proportional now, although her head is still kinda big compared to her cute little body. She is about 11½ inches long and weighs 1-1.25 pound, or about the length and weight of a loaf of bread.

We are both getting so excited! It seems more and more real each time we feel the baby kick. Rudy is able to feel the baby move pretty much everyday. The other night he decided she was way too relaxed in my stomach and decided to wake her up. He was talking spanish to her and moving my stomach a little and before you knew it.....Olivia kicked him right in the hand. It was really funny and cute at the same time.
The soon to be grandparents are all excited too. I hear rumors of a request for Olivia to have red spike hair, white skin, and bowlegs. Wow, wouldn't that be a gift. All I am going to say is that the phone call came from Miami. No matter what Olivia looks like I am sure she is going to be very much loved by everyone!
My sisters are both working hard on establishing a date for the baby shower. It looks like it will be March 21st. I don't even know what to expect but I am sure it will be exciting!
